Rhinestahl Selected as LEAP Tooling Provider for WestJet

CINCINNATI – May 3, 2017 – Rhinestahl Customer Tooling Solutions (CTS) recently announced that it has been selected by the Canadian airline, WestJet, to be its LEAP Engine Stand and Tooling Provider, solidifying Rhinestahl’s commitment to customers worldwide for their LEAP Engine entries into service and making Cincinnati, OH the capital of LEAP Engine Tooling.

As WestJet prepares for their CFM International LEAP-1B engine entry into service (EIS), Rhinestahl CTS’s new relationship promises to deliver the required engine stands and tooling with world-class quality. This agreement with WestJet continues a winning trend after establishing multiple agreements with airlines in late 2016 and early 2017, setting the stage for a successful year. LEAP engines are a product of CFM International, a 50/50 joint company between GE and Safran Aircraft Engines.

“We are excited to build this new relationship with WestJet and provide them with premium LEAP Engine Stands and Tooling. As we celebrate our 50th year, receiving this LEAP Tooling agreement is an affirmation of values we’ve been building since 1967. Our world-class quality, genuine partnerships and proven customer support are why we are on the leading edge of the competition,” said Dieter Moeller, President and CEO of Rhinestahl Corporation.

In addition to WestJet, Rhinestahl continues to meet the needs of its aviation customers like Azul, Pegasus Airlines, Air Asia, and flydubai by providing LEAPengine tooling solutions on time and with full customer support.
