Rhinestahl CTS Announces Five Year Agreement with GE Aviation

OEM licensee to manage and maintain GE’s fleet of GE Passport engine tooling and GSE

CINCINNATI, OH – Rhinestahl CTS, the global leader in aircraft engine tooling and ground support equipment, announced an exclusive agreement to manage and perform various maintenance activities on GE’s fleet of GE PassportTM engine tooling and related components.

During this 5-year agreement, Rhinestahl CTS will exclusively manage GE’s tooling lease pool to ensure customers have access to GE’s tooling during a maintenance event. Rhinestahl CTS will maintain the tooling lease pool at the latest configuration and provide repair and maintenance services to ensure the tooling lease pool remains in a ready status.

“We are excited to support the GE Passport engine program. The recently signed agreement allows us to support all GE Passport customers with tooling required to maintain their operations,” said Rhinestahl Aftermarket Services Director, Brandon Lafferty. “Rhinestahl will manage GE’s entire Passport tooling lease pool from Inquiry To Order (ITO) to Order To Remittance (OTR) from our North American Tooling Readiness Center in Mason, Ohio. GE and Rhinestahl have an outstanding team assembled to support this program and we look forward to our future.”

In 2018, Rhinestahl CTS was selected as the exclusive tooling and ground support equipment provider for the GE Passport engine program. This new, long-term agreement is a testament to Rhinestahl’s existing technical support, customer service model, and continued demonstrated success providing tools for GE gas turbine engines.
